This past weekend a group of very special people decided to turn Coffee N’ Cars Killeen which is originally a well known monthly automotive meet into a very special event to help a fellow automotive enthusiast. That enthusiast goes by the name of Bryan Vizcarrondo, Army veteran, husband to his beautiful wife Margarita Vizcarrondo and friend to many in our local community.

Bryan has been part of this automotive scene for quite some time now. Known as THE 5.0 GUY on YouTube and recently known for his beautiful, all around Bagged Mustang build. Car has been seen at everything from our local 1/4 mile track, Car shows and even getting some laps in at the local Autocross events.

What it looked like in its full show attire.

Sadly a few months back Bryan received news no one is ever truly ready for. In a regular Check up for something he thought may have been a cold or something similar ended up turning into a diagnosis of Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. Due to that diagnosis Bryan ended up not being able to work due to the Chemo treatment.

Here is where that Special group of people decided to come in and help Bryan and his wife through these hard times. Jose Luge decided along side a few other people to try reach out and do something about helping Bryan. That’s when Jose decided that the Coffee N’ Cars meet was a great platform for a Fund raiser in order to help the Vizcarrondo family.

Thanks to the people involved and everyone that attended, an amount of $2,445 was raised for Bryan. People donated money, items for a raffle that took place and there was even a silent auction going on throughout the meet.  Thanks to people like Luis & Angelica Wilmot from the Coffee Beanery, Renee Wolff at Younique Products, Vanessa at Vanessa’s Paparazzi Bazaar, Tiffany and Travis at Tiffany Lundt Photography, Back 2 Life Furniture for the awesome table and lamp, Patrick Sober at IIDM Rides Magazine, Tyrone Willis and the Mid-Tex Corvette Club, Jose Colon at RM Entertainment, LLC, Most importantly Jose and Vanessa Lugo for putting this together..

Thanks to Patrick from IIDM Rides Magazine, Bryan even got a special appearance from Jayson ‘SHAG’ Arrington and Rocco from Iron Resurrection. Bryan also helped spread the word, came out and even donated.

The Killeen automotive community came together nicely on this one. Didn’t matter if you drove an import, classic, muscle car, Lowrider or just a huge Military Truck..

You ever seen that one photographer that always brings a model and while he is taking photos he has another 12 guys behind him taking photos of his model?  Had to do it!

Patricia Rodriguez Saez

It was a nice turn out and plenty of cars to look at but unfortunately I couldn’t get a photo of everything.

Great event with a great reason behind it. Thank each and everyone of you that came out and supported everyone involved, specially the Vizcarrondo family.. I guarantee that they are truly grateful and appreciate everything that went down at this event.

Thanks again.
